We want to deepen relationships with current Chapel Pointe missionaries and partners, engage with God’s presence in a different cultural setting, and participate in events to make disciples and multiply transformed followers of Jesus.

Pray we can be helpful to the 10 individuals joining Live Global this month as they attend orientation. Pray for God to lead and direct them as they begin the fundraising process.
Please pray for wisdom for Andrew and me as we plan what our next international trip or two will look like. Also pray for wisdom for Andrew as he leads Live Global as part of ABWE.

We thank God for the successful workshop. We translated the Epistle of the Apostle Paul. In the near future, we plan to study the Epistle to the Philippians.
I thank God that I was able to share the Gospel with several people. One person was deeply moved by my testimony of how the Lord chose and blessed me.
We thank God that our daughter has successfully completed her third year of college with good grades.
Prayer Requests
Please pray for the people to whom we are sharing the Gospel, that the Lord may touch their hearts and that they may become disciples of Jesus Christ.
Please continue to pray for our church and our youth, that many will get involved in ministry and that there will be much fruit.
Since we live in another country, our relatives took advantage of the situation and sold our land in the village. Please pray that we will be able to buy a place in this city instead.

We are returning to our center in PNG with quite a few missionaries living there, which is nice. Originally it was looking like it was going to fairly empty.
Our two youngest, Emmett and Mila, have progressed very well in their speech therapy this year, which was one of our main concerns coming home on furlough.
God has been so kind to us this furlough. We had a place to live, a car to drive, our kids learned to swim and ride bikes, we had good family time, our kids got help with speech issues, etc. We are very thankful.
Prayer Requests
Our kids are starting to feel the move back to PNG, especially Evie, our oldest. They are excited to go back, but it can be a lot for them to work through. It’s a big mix of sad and happy for little kiddos.
Continue to pray that the Lord burdens someone’s heart for the Gende people to join us.
Pray for the goodbyes this month. We are saying goodbye to family and friends for possibly another four years.

God provided us with the help and energy we needed to host the Connecticut team well. We dropped them off at the airport last night after they shared, and their pastor preached at a church that’s on the way!
The team did an amazing job at our VBS, and we had over 75 different children attend and hear the Gospel.
The Lord provided for us to purchase a large, industrial refrigerator for the retreat center!
Prayer Requests
As we prepare for our annual trip to the US. The adjustments, logistics, travels, and many different ministries, etc., can feel overwhelming if we let them. We want to be “all there”, but we also want to be “all here”! 8 months in Brazil and 4 months in the US is challenging and at times, frustrating.

We filmed our final Soul Stirrer video and it’s currently in the post-production stage. That makes a total of 15 evangelistic videos that will be used in schools, universities, churches, and community outreaches.
Our recent youth weekend away was a big success with lots of fun and many young people learning to hear from God and obey.

Kiera’s spinal fusion surgery will take place in the next 3-4 months. Pray for the right timing.
Ella finishes her summer mission/internship in Ecuador this week.
We sense some significant changes are coming in the months ahead for us and our non-profit Start to Stir. Pray with us!
The Cooper Family | Serving in Togo, West Africa

Chris and Lydia Cooper are ABWE missionaries serving in Togo, West Africa at the Hospital of Hope. The hospital cares for patients from over 6 surrounding countries, including many unreached people groups, serving as a church planting catalyst in the region. The Coopers are passionate about meeting the physical needs of unreached families to engage them with their spiritual need for Christ.

We passed our A2 final exams!
We were healthy the whole term and did not miss a day of class.
God is equipping more laborers to be sent out to Francophone countries.
Chris has been consistently meeting with his language partner, and Lydia got connected with a potential language partner.
Prayer Requests
Please pray for the missionaries who finished their language studies and are heading to their areas of ministry.
Please pray for smooth travels back to the States and that James adjusts well to the time change (and sleeps on the plane!).
Please pray for the language school as they navigate costly changes that need to be made to the buildings on campus.
Please pray that we keep up with our French while on summer break.
Please pray Lydia’s connection with a potential language partner is a good match!
