A few weekends ago, hundreds of volunteers, church partners, and our West Michigan community was mobilized to support those affected by the hurricanes. In just 72 hours, 3 semi-trucks were filled with needed supplies, and $34,771 was generously given towards the cause. Local media outlets such as WZZM13, WOODTV8, and FOX17 even shared stories outlining the relief efforts.
On Sunday, October 20, a team from Chapel Pointe traveled to Clearwater, Florida, to help unload these trailers of supplies and begin to dig through the destruction in homes throughout the community. They had opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus by praying with and walking alongside those who are hurting.
We continue to praise God for all He has done, and all He will continue to do. Thank you to those who shared their time, talents, and resources to support those affected by the hurricanes!
