In this sermon, Pastor Joel explores how Daniel and his friends stood firm in their faith despite powerful pressures to bow to idols. In Daniel 3, they refuse to worship Nebuchadnezzar’s golden image—demonstrating their conviction—even at the risk of a fiery furnace. Later, in Daniel 6, Daniel’s loyalty to God leads him into the lions’ den when he refuses to compromise his prayer life under King Darius’s decree. Through these stories, we see the courage it takes to live by conviction and trust in God over man. What convictions are you compromising in your own life?
