Essential Classes
Essentials Classes are one-time classes that take place on Sunday mornings multiple times throughout the year! These Essential Classes are power-packed sessions of growth taught by godly and gifted teachers. These classes will benefit those that are new to the faith and those that are farther along in their spiritual journey.
Class Descriptions
Bible Essentials Class
Whether you’re new to the Bible or you’ve grown up with it in your hands your whole life, learn to take your study, knowledge and application of what’s actually in the Bible one step further. This class will include convincing facts about the Bible, information on what makes up the Bible, and a guide for how to pick up the Bible and read it with your whole life. Knowing our lives depend on it, come take this one hour class with us and learn how to live in greater pursuit of God by reading His Word.
Bible Essential Classes take place on January 29, February 26, April 16, June 4, and July 16. The class will meet at 10:45 am in Room 210, which is on the upper level.
Jesus Essentials Class
This class is an opportunity to discover who Jesus is in the Gospel of John and His desire to be in a relationship with us that impacts us today and for all eternity.
Jesus Essential Classes take place on January 22, March 5, April 23, June 11, and July 23. The class will meet at 10:45 am in Room 209 or 210, which is on the upper level.
Prayer Essentials Class
In this class of Prayer Essentials, we will cover questions such as “Why do I pray?”, “How do I pray?”, “What do I pray?”,
“What does Jesus say about prayer?” and “How does God want us to pray?”
Prayer Essential Classes take place on January 15, March 12, April 30, June 18, and July 30. The class will meet at 10:45 am in Room 209 or 210, which is on the upper level.
Outreach Essentials Class
What does it mean to love your neighbor and go and make discipels? Learn how to share the gospel of Jesus and the hope it brings in your existing network of relationships.
– What is the Gospel?
– Who is in your network?
– What does it mean to love & pray?
– How do we “raise the flag?”
– How do we start conversations?
– How can we respond to questions?
Outreach Essential Classes take place on February 19, April 2, May 28, and July 9. The class will meet at 9:15 am in Room 209 or 210, which is on the upper level.
Serve Essentials Class
Why serve? Doesn’t that run against my first response and what others say? Come to the Serve Essentials Class to understand what Jesus taught and modeled in Mark 9; this essential is displayed again and again throughout the New Testament church. Continue your journey to understand and put into practice your spiritual gifting, passions, and abilities.
Outreach Essential Classes take place on February 5, March 19, May 7, and June 25. The class will meet at 9:15 am in Room 209 or 210, which is on the upper level.
Stewardship Essentials Class
Discover foundational principles of biblical stewardship to manage money with eternal values.
