There are two widely known days for getting deals: Black Friday and Cyber Monday. On #GivingTuesday, we have a day for giving back. Together, people are creating a new tradition for their annual calendar.
At Chapel Pointe, we take our giving very seriously. It’s an act of worship, strengthens our devotion to Christ, and is a gauge for our hearts. We give our time, talents, finances, and resources to help those in our church and community. Your gift—no matter the size—enables us to share the message of Jesus Christ with the world. As we are in the Season of Giving, remember that everyone has something to give. What we do with the gifts God has given us can tangibly make a difference in someone’s life.

We believe that giving financially is a form of worship. It strengthens our devotion to Christ and frees us to live open-handedly with the gifts God gives us. When you give, you are tangibly making a difference in someone’s life. Marriages are restored, lives are healed, and people meet Jesus. There’s no better investment in the world.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is online giving secure?
Yes. Chapel Pointe and Church Community Builder follow industry-standard guidelines for all transactions. We do not retain or store your credit card or banking information. Transactions are received securely over 256-Bit encrypted pages and processed via a secure payment gateway. We are fully PCI compliant (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, PCI DSS).
Does giving online cost the church money?
Giving via bank account (the preferred method) incurs a $0.45 processing fee regardless of the donation amount when given online or 1% of the donation amount when using the mobile app or text. When giving via credit/debit card, the processing fee is approximately 3% of the donation amount regardless of the method.
Can I set up automatic recurring gifts?
Yes. To help you remember to give regularly, you can set up an automated recurring gift at the interval of your choice (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually). You can set up as many schedules as you would like, so it is possible to give a monthly gift as well as a weekly one.
Can I change or cancel my recurring gifts?
Currently, it is not possible to edit any part of a repeating gift. If you would like to change a repeating gift, you will need to…
- Cancel/stop the current repeating gift
- Create a new repeating gift with the changes you would like to make. Account information is not stored in the system [for security reasons], so it will need to be re-entered for the new repeating gift.
Can I designate my gift to a specific fund?
Yes. You can choose from a few available funds to designate (General, Benevolent, or Building).
Can I give to multiple funds in a single transaction or recurring gift?
Yes. To do so, follow these instructions:
- Choose your initial donation and fund
- Click the “Add Another” link (below giving amount)
- Enter your additional gift amount and fund
Note: Not all funds are available for online giving. Please contact the church business manager in these situations.
Can I get a contribution statement?
Yes. All donations, including electronic, are recorded in your myPointe profile. This provides you access to your financial history at any time. There is a link where you can print off a Giving Statement to use for tax purposes for your convenience.
