Recently, Hurricane Helene devastated the Southeast United States and filled the news with reports of destruction left in the wake of the storm. Even as the region is recovering, Florida communities are gearing up for Hurricane Milton. The storm path is projected to roll through Tampa and the Orlando area.
As transformed followers of Jesus passionately responding to God, we have the opportunity to respond as the hands and feet of Jesus to provide relief to some of the impacted communities. At Chapel Pointe, we believe in deep relationships and that loving relationships set the tone for community. Through our relationships with churches in the Southeast, we are coordinating a shipment of supplies for the communities affected.
We invite you to respond to this urgent need by donating supplies, giving financially, and praying for the communities across the Southeast and for the local churches to stand firm in Christ and respond to their neighbors’ physical and spiritual needs. Here are some specific ways that you can help:
Donate Supplies
We invite you to partner with us on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday by donating physical supplies or giving financially to relief efforts.

Money donated to this fund will go directly to the hurricane relief efforts to provide supplies and assistance to those affected.
Join Us In Prayer
Join us in praying for those affected as we seek God’s comfort in this time of need.
- Pray for God’s comfort and strength for everyone impacted
- Pray for the cities and governmental authorities
- Pray that the body of Christ is mobilized to serve sacrificially
- Pray that, as local churches serve, they will proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to their communities
- Pray for continued resources and support for those impacted
- Pray that people would be moved to give sacrificially
- Pray for spiritual and mental health among those affected
