Dwayne & Brenda Johnson
Supported by Chapel Pointe since 2007
Dwayne and Brenda have been missionaries with Transport For Christ since 2003. Transport For Christ’s mission statement is “Leading truck drivers, as well as the trucking community, to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.” They turn tractor trailers into chapels and place them permanently all over the world. They currently have 39 chapels in the United States, 7 in Canada, 2 in Russia, 2 in Zambia, and 1 in Paraguay. Dwayne began as a volunteer with the ministry in 2001. When the Grand Rapids Chapel was placed at the 76th Street Truck Stop off US-131, he was commissioned and went full-time as a TFC Chaplain. Not long after, they asked him to head up their Location Development for the United States. Although his office is technically at TFC’s International Headquarters in Marietta, PA, he works primarily from home in Michigan when he is not traveling.
They have one son, Dustin (not pictured), and three daughters, Brittany, Olivia, and Noelle.
