Originally formed as Christian Fellowship Church in October of 1957 and later renamed Baldwin Heights Baptist Church in 1958, Chapel Pointe has a long history of faithful discipleship in West Michigan. There have been many changes through the years, but one thing holds true throughout our history – a commitment to advancing the good news of Jesus Christ throughout Michigan and beyond. In 2014, a new vision of our church was established, launching the ministry into a new season as we seek to multiply transformed followers of Jesus.

Kids
Our kids ministry is here to partner with homes as we disciple kids to follow Jesus and live for Him everywhere. We offer age-specific classes at all Sunday morning services at our Hudsonville campus, including Preschool (birth – Kindergarten), Elementary (1st – 3rd Grade), and Pre-teen (4th & 5th Grade).
Students
Our student ministry is a community for students to encounter Christ, experience transformation, and be equipped to take next steps in their spiritual journey. Our student small groups start at 5:45pm on Sunday evenings. Doors open at 6:30pm for students not in small groups, with dinner available for $3 per student. Our programming begins at 7:00pm and lasts until 8:00pm.
Young Adults
Our young adults ministry is for college students, young adults, and young professionals. We believe the local church is the most effective place to find biblical community and answers. We want to engage with you as we worship God, connect you in small groups, and help you find your spiritual giftedness so you can serve the Kingdom of God.
Women
Our women’s ministry exists to help women become transformed followers of Christ through Bible study, prayer and worship, and intentional connections with one another. As a Christ-centered community, we sharpen and encourage one another on our journey of transformation. There are many ways to stay connected, from joining a TEA (Teaching Encouragement Accountability) Bible study. BLOOM (Building a Legacy out of Motherhood) group, or a women’s small group.
Men
Our men’s ministry equips men through biblical community to be spiritual leaders in their areas of influence. We help men establish a firm foundation that will transform their lives through the power of Jesus. That transformation happens with men engaging together in prayer and the Bible.
Marriage, Counseling, and Care
We desire to express the heart of God and the love of Jesus as we tend to the needs of the people around us, whether those needs are spiritual, emotional, or physical. Our team would love to connect and care for you personally.
Small Groups
We desire everyone who calls Chapel Pointe their home church connect in biblical community, and small groups are the perfect place to start. Our small groups are groups of people that apply the Word of God, care for each other, and serve the world together.

One Way
We live in a world where everyone is encouraged to live their truth. Our culture tells us that there are many ways to live a fulfilling life. However, the Bible claims there is only one path to abundant life — a life that follows Jesus (John 14:6).
Join us on Sunday as we explore what it truly means to be a Christian and to walk in the way of Jesus.
