Care & Counseling
we care for you!
Care is a defining characteristic of who we are! We desire to express the heart of God and the love of Jesus as we tend to the needs of the people around us, whether those needs are spiritual, emotional, or physical. When you reach out, someone will connect and care for you personally. When necessary, you will be directed to counseling or other resources to help you through the situation you are in. You can expect to be prayed for by those that are helping and walking alongside of you through your circumstances.
Everyone needs help from time to time and we are here for you when you need it!

how to connect
Our team would love to connect with you to help you meet your needs.
types of care
From counseling referrals to benevolence requests, we provide care in many ways. Click through the ways that our team of staff, deacons, and leaders seek to care for our church community.
Prayer Room and Prayer Team
Our Prayer Room gives people a place to go on a Sunday morning to experience loving relationships and find hope, peace, and support for the challenges they are facing. It is staffed by caring and trained individuals who are ready to listen, pray, and suggest next steps.
As a church, we are committed to being “Rooted in Prayer”. Prayer requests are regularly submitted to the office by our church family and then passed on to our Prayer Team so that they can bring these requests to our Heavenly Father.
Grief Team
Our Grief team exists to offer prayer and support to those who have lost a loved one. Our team members are gifted in mercy and are trained to love and care for the hurting with the same kind of love and compassion that Jesus shows to us. This care includes: regular contact, prayer, and assistance with any needs that arise.
Widow Team
Our Widow team seeks to love, comfort, and encourage those who have lost their spouse. The widows meet several times during the year for support and encouragement and to foster relationships within this community of ladies. We are also available to assist with other needs as they come up.
Hospital Team
Our Hospital team cares for those who are in the hospital on an out-patient basis or for a more long-term situation. Our trained team of volunteers are available to encourage you before surgery through prayer and Scripture. If desired, they also provide follow-up support through phone calls, cards, and personal visits.
Homebound Team
The Homebound team serves and builds relationships with people within our church family who cannot attend our Worship Services due to age and/or a health issue. We desire that this often-forgotten group of people feel loved and cared for. Our trained volunteers regularly visit and spend time playing games, conversing, reading Scripture, and praying.
Benevolence
Our Benevolence Ministry offers assistance to those who are connected to Chapel Pointe and are experiencing financial difficulties. We seek to get you back on your feet and offer training to provide a solid financial foundation.
