GO ON MISSION

2025-2026 Mission Trips

Chapel Pointe is on mission and we are inviting you to join us!

From Boston to Brazil to Romania, we are sending teams to share the Gospel throughout the world. We want to deepen relationships with current Chapel Pointe missionaries and partners, engage with God’s presence in a different cultural setting, and participate in events to make disciples and multiply transformed followers of Jesus.

Check out the trips listed below for details and links to sign up.

Come back each month for updated prayers and praises from our missions partners!

Nancy Berends | Serving in Togo, West Africa

Nancy Berends | Serving primarily in Togo, West Africa, based in West Michigan

Praises

  • After nearly three years of work, the project to connect lab equipment directly to the hospital software in Togo has been successfully implemented! Lab results now auto-import instead of being typed manually, and both doctors and patients have already noticed shorter wait times.

  • God continues to bring people to Himself through the healthcare ministries — in hospitals, mobile teams, and small clinics.

  • I’m deeply thankful for co-workers who faithfully share the Good News even as they meet people’s physical needs.

Prayers

  • Pray for God to provide a new medical director, as the physician who was to begin orientation in November has withdrawn.

  • Pray for one of our physicians who is struggling to raise financial support, that God would meet her needs abundantly.

  • Pray for God to send more laborers into His harvest fields, especially where the need is great and the harvest is ripe.

  • The ministry center in South Asia has reached full funding — a $1.5 million project! Praise God for His incredible provision.

  • This has been a sweet season with our family. We’re thankful for extended health and quality time together.

  • Even in the midst of global opposition, the gospel continues to advance in some of the hardest places.

Prayers

  • Pray for more people to join our team so we can seize the growing kingdom opportunities before us.

  • Pray that our family would have more personal evangelism opportunities locally — for eyes to see and the Spirit to move.

  • Pray for wisdom to pursue the right things in the right way, removing any self-imposed hindrances to ministry effectiveness.

Praises

  • Thank God for the ministry He has called us to. Recently, we have served many people, prayed for them, and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.

  • Thank God for the revival among the people to whom we have shared the gospel. Some have started attending church, and some desire to be baptized.

  • Thank God that we have finished studying the First Epistle to the Corinthians and have started the Second Epistle to the Corinthians.

Prayer Requests

  • Pray for our loved ones and for those who want to be baptized.

  • Pray for Saida’s dental treatment—she has three teeth left to treat, which will cost about $900.

  • Pray for provision for a new computer, which I use for Bible translation work. The repairman said it needs to be replaced, costing about $1,000.

Praises

  • We are encouraged by our remaining teammates. Though they’ve faced challenges, they’ve responded with truth and perseverance.

  • We’re grateful to be home and able to focus on medical, dental, and speech therapy needs that couldn’t be addressed while in PNG.

  • Despite setbacks, God continues to encourage and provide. A few churches have committed funds toward our house-building project in the village—we’ve raised roughly a third of what’s needed!

Prayer Requests

  • Pray for another family to join our church-planting team among the Gende people before we return from furlough.

  • Pray for our teammates, the Fitzpatricks, who are managing ministry on the ground in PNG amid transitions.

  • Pray that God uses us as we travel, update, and preach in churches to encourage people toward Him and His purposes.

The Santos Family | Serving in Brazil

Dave & Jan Santos | Serving in São Paulo, Brazil

Praises

  • God provided just enough funding to make the MK retreat everything we dreamed it would be! The times in the Word were special, and there were fun surprises every day. We were even able to give each MK some spending money!

  • 150 military police officers at the largest battalion in our city heard the Gospel clearly!

  • Colonel Allyson told us that their door is open to us anytime. He even mentioned that he once gave a lecture on narco-trafficking to the FBI in the U.S.—we’re already excited about the next opportunity!

  • The BMM Member Care counselors received their visas in under 24 hours—a true miracle!

Prayer Requests

  • Pray for our son-in-law, Nathan, to find a new job.

  • Pray for our health and wisdom to pace ourselves as we host multiple groups through mid-January. It’s a big responsibility but also a huge privilege.

  • Pray for Joshua, the son of a colleague, who is undergoing a very delicate brain tumor removal surgery on the 11th. The biggest request is that the Lord would allow Joshua to keep what little vision he still has (20% in one eye, 0% in the other).
