By the time he was nine, Eric lost both his parents due to natural causes and was adopted by his dad’s parents. By 20 years old, he lost both grandparents. Confused at why he had to experience so much loss, Eric ran from God. But God met Eric in Scripture, teaching him to stand firm and have joy in the trials knowing that it produces steadfastness so that he would be made complete.
