During a meeting with some of the church leadership, Marc Hultink was challenged to be a good steward of his family’s money and not keep it separate from God. “That was humbling, and probably a bit frustrating, but there was some freedom,” Marc remembers. A few months later, Marc and his wife took a financial class offered at Chapel Pointe where they learned how to surrender their finances to the Lord. Following this, Marc lost his job, but instead of pushing God away in the uncertainty, the first thing he and his wife did was pray.
