At Chapel Pointe, we want to help believers at every stage of Bible study connect in community and find opportunities to learn and grow their faith.
Fall Class Opportunities
Classes take place throughout the week at Chapel Pointe, generally run for 10 weeks, and are a great opportunity to dive deeper into God’s Word and connect and grow with other transformed followers.
cpKids programming is offered on Wednesday evenings to parents participating in a class or volunteering with cpKids on those evenings.
Wednesday Night Classes
5 Essentials
Discover essential truths for living as a transformed follower of Christ. Each of the five topics will be taught by different CP Leaders. The class topics include: Bible, Jesus, Prayer, Outreach and Stewardship.
This class will be held on Wednesday evenings starting August 30, from 6:30-7:45 pm, and will be taught by various teachers. This class will run for 5 weeks and offered in two different sessions. Please choose the session that works for your schedule:
- August 30 – October 4
- October 11 – November 8
Angels, Demons & Spiritual Warfare
Discover the role of angels in God’s creation, the fall, redemption and restoration of all things. Learn important life lessons from angels about worship, service and obedience to God. Prepare to do battle spiritually in the warfare against Satan and his demons in the provisions of Christ for victory.
This class will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:45 pm, starting on August 30, and will be taught by Pastor Jim Jeffery & Scott Dykstra.The cost of materials are $26.25.
Bible Study: Old Testament Survey
Biblical Worldview
Learn and discuss how our basic beliefs as Christians impact our daily lives.
This class will be held on Wednesday evenings, starting August 30, from 6:30-7:45 pm, and will be taught by Andrew Honeycutt. The cost of materials is $5.00.
How to Help People Grow & Change: Soul Care Foundations
Are you growing and changing for God’s glory? Do you desire to learn how to practically and more confidently help others grow and change to become more like Christ? If so, this class will benefit you and many other people! Join us!
This class will be held on Wednesday evenings, starting August 30, from 6:30-7:45 pm, and will be taught by Andy Woodall & Rebecca Weaver. The cost of materials is $14.25.
Jesus the Storyteller: Gospel Parables & God's Kingdom
In this class we will learn how to read Jesus’ parables as little stories that teach big lessons about God’s work in this world and our part in it. We’ll cover many of the parables and equip you to study the others.
This class will be held on Wednesday evenings, starting August 30, from 6:30-7:45 pm, and will be taught by David Turner. The cost of materials is $10.00.
Living on Mission
Re-center your life around the Great Commission and be equipped to take responsibility for the spiritual condition of the people God has placed around you. Learn how to be present in any cultural context to serve and bless people with the grace, truth, and love of Jesus.
This class will be held on Wednesday evenings, starting August 30, from 6:30-7:45 pm, and will be taught by Steve Harrington. The cost of materials is $5.00. This class will run for 5 weeks and offered in two different sessions. Please choose the session that works for your schedule:

Working in the Presence of God: Exploring Faith and Work
How do we invite God into our everyday lives? Working in the Presence of God will discuss the incorporation of 11 spiritual practices into the ordinary rhythms of everyday work experience. God is already present and active in your work! As a class participant, you will learn how to become more aware of your workday rhythms and how various spiritual practices can be implemented into your job, as a way of connecting deeper with Christ. This class will discuss the connection of faith and work, and will provide participants with very practical steps to interacting with God and living out their faith in whatever work God has called them to.
This class will be held on Wednesday evenings, starting August 30, from 6:30-7:45 pm, and will be taught by Shannon VandeWarker. The cost of materials is $35.00.
Men's, Women's, and Student Classes
Men's Class | A Lamp Unto My Feet
“The author of the psalm is a man who has known great trouble in his life, but also one who has come through it with a deep and passionate understanding of God’s unfailing love and compassion.” (GotQuestions.org) The men in this class have also experienced great trouble in their lives; sexual sin.

Men's Class | Pure Freedom: Finally Free
It’s a battle familiar to virtually every man – maintaining a pure mind, heart and body in the presence of nearly constant sexual temptation. Join us as we dive into the Word, sharpen one another through accountability and learn to take up the full armor of God. Whether you are struggling with sin, looking for further equipping or want to mentor other men, come and join the pursuit of the inheritance that is ours in Jesus.

This class will be held on Thursday evenings, starting September 21, from 6:30-8:15 pm, and will be taught by Steve Nichols and other leaders. The cost of materials is $16.50.
Men's Class | Interpreting Revelation
Many people are frightened as they read the book of Revelation. This class will help the believer see that the imagery, judgment, and God’s city should be encouraging, not something to fear.
This class will be held on Tuesday evenings, starting September 12, from 6:30-8:00 pm, and will be taught by Ron Christian and Buzz Lynds. The cost of materials is $20.25.
Women's Precept Study | Genesis
Genesis Part Three covers chapters 12-25. This will be an exciting study as we learn more about who God is and the incredible difference that knowledge can make in our lives each day! It is not necessary to have done Parts One and Two.
This class will be held on Thursday evenings, starting September 21, from 7:00-9:00 pm, and will be taught by Gail Brunsell. The cost of materials is $14.00.
Women's Class | Finding Hope When Life Seems Dark
With this study of five of the minor prophets, Hosea, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, and Zephaniah, you’ll discover the light of God’s truth shining in even the darkest circumstances.
This class will be held on Monday evenings, starting September 11, at 7:00-8:00pm and will be taught by Dawn Pruim. The cost of materials is $8.00.
Wednesday Middle School Class
Join cpStudents in a class for those in 6th-8th grade that will walk through who Jesus is and what that means for us in our daily lives. Jesus asks his disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” The goal of this class is for students to answer that question confidently as they seek to be onMission in their spheres of influence.
This class will be held on Wednesday evenings, starting August 30, from 6:30-7:45 pm, and will be taught by Brian Ball.
